The main style of this church is Gothic, which is why it represents the main keystones of the Swedish Brick Gothic style buildings. The church tower was covered in yellow plaster and the details of the tower are in white. The beautiful exterior of the church is fully matched by the extravagant interior. Inside the church, the most important of all the features is the wooden statue of Saint George and the Dragon. The statue was made to remember the Battle of Brunkeberg. Among the important artifacts in the church, there is the oldest known painting of Stockholm ever made. Overall, the Storkyrkan is one of the most influential buildings in the Stockholm area and the entire country of Sweden.
